vegas-voss
In our search for a new coach.Time and time again Holland produce great coaches.Surely one of the coaches from the lesser teams in Holland could be convinced to come to Scotland.Im not talking about a Van Basten or Hiddink but someone who has still to really make their name but has been brought up on the dutch way of coaching all their life. Before someone starts given it the why don't we just go British well of course i would like that but for whatever reason Vlad aint up for that but maybe with the success shown by Hiddink and Advocaat with Russian teams maybe Vlad could work with a Dutch coach. The problem is that he cant work with any self respecting coach. He probably could work with a Dutchman providing the Dutchman did wahtever Romanov asked him to do. Boris
Be careful what you wish for. Didn't Kaunas have a Dutchman in charge for a while?
Sherlock
...maybe Vlad could work with a Dutch coach. IMO, we're way past 'who Vlad could work with' and are now in 'who would work with Vlad' territory. The more people we approach who then turn us down, the more the position looks unattractive to others. Any coach / manager of note we approach now will be asking what it is about the job that wasn't good enough for the previous candidates.
