Well that's a new one

Club say he was suffering from breathing difficulties.

Could well have been a panic attack brought on by his reaction to the noise. Either way, he'll have to sort it out if he wants a future in the game.

Fitzroy Pointon

He maybe has anxiety issues that were exacerbated by the atmosphere.  I know people with aspergers/autism can be affected by noise.  I could imagine the noise in that stadium would be something else.  Ever literally had your breath taken away by an atmosphere in a stadium, at a gig or in a club?  I would imagine someone with anxiety issues may struggle to deal with that.

The Shite at fester put Hans Eskillson off I seem to remember.

:look:

Was it not the noise from us as he raced in on goal?

That's what the OP was alluding to.

In that case, he made a pig's ear of it and came up with some half-arsed excuse about the noise.

Hairy clown !

Cracking player. Now has no future in the game due to every football fan knowing this bizarre weakness

He was substituted because of breathing difficulties, as confirmed by his club.
