The pitch does have a run off, which is towards the Roseburn end, more down towards Section N. That is to prevent water lying on the pitch. What happened last year, when people were surprised by the game that was called off due to a flooded pitch was that the surface had been relaid but those relaying it had made the surface totally flat by mistake before relaying the pitch on top of it.
