Ivan Drago
Pizzeria at dock park is pretty good, you can get a good steak, and children are always happy with pizza? The pizzeria out at Georgetown is ok as well. Other than that your just looking at Chinese and Indian really, the Indian on Buccleuch Street is pretty good, and all the chinese are solid but unspectaular. If your thinking about just pub grub the Cavens Arms is ok. (think thats about all the bits ive eaten in dumfries, i havent been to any for a good while though)

jambojock
you could also try The doonhamer in academy street, brunos in balmoral road, the morieg hotel on the annan road or the swan hotel down at the kinghom quay. These places cater for my two fussy boys, if no try georges chip shop on st michael street.
