Bambo Badonde
What is going on with Reilly? Neilson persisted with him and gave him lots of game time and he (in my opinion) did very little. Then it finally looked like he was coming on to a game and then he can't get near the team... Very odd. As a side note I think that yesterday (Celtic game) would have been a great game for him to play in. He would have potentially caused Efe Ambrose to make a few mistakes. Mouse
Should've been on to chase down and put pressure on Ambrose, doesn't offer much else though. His best performances much like the rest of the team were when we had Sow.

The very thing that was missing for 60 mins yesterday. His movement in the final third might have opened things up a bit for someone like Djoum, Walker or Prince to gather and exploit the space created. As it was Celtic had all the time in the world to bring the ball out of defence with no one in behind Juanma putting any pressure on .

Would like a bit more from a striker than to be able to make other players make mistakes. Only ever going to be up front as a supporting role as he never takes the ball forward looking like a striker who believes he can score goals. Tends to turn back looking for support when in a good position, something that a prolific centre forward would just not do.

He was one of the few who looked up for it at Fir Park and did more in those 10 minutes than Jamie has in the last two games. Correct, when Reilly was in the team we played in the manner similar to that which brought us up from the Championship, and which should have been identified as our best way of playing before game one of the season started. Why do people appear to dislike him, the only place I've ever heard anyone say he is no good is on here. The comments made, he doesn't score enough goals. Similar thoughts passed through my head when Jankuaskas and Kevin Kyle were in the side, that they weren't really big goalscorers, and in Kevin's case a number of them came from penalty kicks. However, what I was also able to see was that their very presence and impact on the team meant opportunities were being created for others to score goals and help us win games, and if we are winning I don't give a flying feck who is putting the ball in the net. Regular John
Reilly and Sow were looking like our most effective striking partnership in years then China came knocking. He needs someone like Sow to play off, neither Juanma or Dauda have those qualities.
August Landmesser
Juanma and Reilly have looked ok too, in the 6-0 game I think? Reilly did all the running that Juanma didn't fancy. Anyway, that aside, it was clearly stated when Reily was signed that he was here as a development player. Meaning, he's here to develop. A few first team run-outs this season whilst we get settled back into the Prem, Robbie experiments with a few different systems, gets a handle on what he wants to do and how to do it before getting properly stuck in next season. Reilly will be around next season, and I'm happy about that. Sent from my LG-H340n using Tapatalk

Bauld
We should be doing everything in our power to make sure he's fully committed to Hearts next season. He's had good time this season to bed in and a player with that amount of commitment is what is winning Leicester the title this season. Pair him with the right players and we could step up to the next level.

upgotheheads
He was our best player at the turn of the year and in particular in a game agaist Celtic. His performance as a sub last week against Motherwell was outstanding, he put more into 15 minutes than any of the others in the previous 75. I don't understand Robbie's reluctance to give him a run in the team when others have not been performing for weeks if not months. I suspect though that he will start every game remaining, if he gets a couple of goals it will set him up for next season.

The jj era
Hate all the ' he needs a partner upfront' chat. It's clear that the modern game has adapted one up front, as have hearts. As the one forward its your job to make space for others, make dangerous runs and finish amongst other things. Reilly for me does the first two well, and we're lucky enough to have better finishers to carry that side of him( walker, Nicholson Djoum). When Juanma or Dauda play bad, they really seem to lack all three and just seem a waste of a jersey. I'm on Reilly's side, I think we're better with him in the team but don't get the two up front chat. If he were to add finishing to his game(which I hope he will in time) then he'll be a very very good striker. All my opinion of course.

Kirky Jambo
Agree he did well when coming on at Motherwell. GarryJ-o-s
I don't particularly rate him other than his work rate; don't think he can finish. ScottieMcLaghlin05
Robbie done the same with Juanma at the start of the season, Juanma was scoring goals and playing well, he got dropped for Reilly when Gavin wasn't on form. once Gavin started looking good Juanma got back in and he wasn't playing well. very strange way to manage, if your players on form, why stop playing him?? Spencer
I'd be giving the lad a chance again. He gets us 10 yards up the park as a starting point. There's limitations in his game clearly. I'd have thought he was signed to improve on areas of weakness and utilise the key attributes that made us sign him? His current position makes you wonder whether he's able to improve to the level required or whether he's been let down by the management team who were there to improve his development. Wouldn't be an enormous surprise if he moved on this summer at his instigation. I'd be seriously considering my options if I were him
