The Natural Order
A club should always charge what they can to generate the most income to pay for the best team they can possibly get. The folk who want ?15/20 quid tickets would be the first to be posted missing when their team could only afford a squad equivalent to Motherwell/Dundee Utd/Hibs. Football clubs across the UK including Hearts are fleecing supporters. Football should never be about sucking supporters dry. Sitting here in the old stand for ?27 is just ridiculous. Gate prices should sideways be significantly cut when clubs also get a huge drop from TV.
269miles
Bayern Munich made a statement on ticket prices a year or so ago (when asked about the cheap ST prices, compared with England) - it said putting up ticket prices doesn't make any real difference to their income and they had no intention of putting prices up to match England. The price of football in the UK is a total rip off and has been for many years.
