Should see a fairly strong team ,would hope Alim, Swanson, Juwon and Reilly all get a run out and a bit of match sharpness. Also would like to see Hamilton play over Gallagher.

Liam Smith injured or needed for Saturday?

He's apparently got a thigh injury, a recurrence of the one he had a few weeks ago.

Not so good, really like the look of him, hopefully nothing serious

According to Betfair Stats, fairly even but Aberdeen with the better stats ever so slightly. We have committed more fouls though, good to see the philosophy runs right through :2thumbsup:

Aberdeen goal was from a penalty for handball. Jordan McGhee who was doing extra training on a nearby pitch flung himself full length to magnificently palm away a Dons effort. Robbie clapped. Second place now looks unattainable for the under 20's. Kickback implodes.

Aye but did Hamilton give him a shout?

Aberdeen now fouling us at every opportunity. 11 fouls in one single half and 2 yellows. I'm outraged!

Good to hear Zanatta scoring too, hope he gets a wee run in the team soon.

Tieing in with other threads quite a young team Aberdeen had today whilst we had experience. Wasn't the case last year so progress into that gap is being made

Aberdeen bossed it for the first 15-20 minutes with Hamilton making a couple of good saves, but once Goose and Swanson got a grip on midfield Hearts were the better side for the remainder of the game.

Getting the equaliser so quickly after Aberdeen's penalty probably helped settle any nerves.  The Don's defender stood off Zanatta and allowed him to spin and shoot home from 10 yards.

Ozturk's first free kick was a peach from 25 yards, off the underside of the bar and into the net.

The less said about the second one the better, It was more of a pass back that the (Hibs class) keeper fumbled through his legs.

The senior guys made the difference today as Ozturk strolled through the game, King, although quiet for spells, showed some good touches and made some telling runs, but Swanson shone through with a skilful and combative contribution in the sitting midfield role alongside Goose.

Also good performances again from Daniel Baur, Liam Henderson and Lewis Moore.

Had the rare chance to watch the under 20s with a few holidays to take before the end of the year.

The one that impressed most for me out of the younger lads was Daniel Baur, really imposing presence and has a class way beyond that of most 16 year olds. Great in terms of bringing the ball up into the opposition half and has excellent control. Definitely has vast potential let's hope he keeps it going.
