Tazio
Seems that being a manager anywhere can be risky these days sacked

Mr Romanov Saviour of HMFC
They have Jose Mourinho lined up to replace him though. Replacing Burley with Rix is MAD!
Del1812
Politics problems between managers and directors that lead to dismissals occurs a lot more in European football. The Burley scenario probably would have been a new one to them. But not had George been allowed to finish the season and then been sacked due to the relationship he had with Romanov. Say What Again
They have Jose Mourinho lined up to replace him though. Replacing Rix with Burley is MAD! Inter fans expect Mourinho to replace him - we expected Robson/Scala/Gullit to replace Burley. I wouldn't rule Rix out of the Inter job just yet. WalterEgo
"He no longer works for Internazionale. He's available for work if he gets a phone call." Wee gob*****e. Tell him to apply if he wants the job.
bistokid
His achievements as Inter manager have always been questioned. His first Seria A was after Calciopoli. And the rest have been won when Juventus and Milan have been deducted points or still recovering from the scandal. He failed in Europe, had declared he was quiting after the game and only scraped the championship this season despite have far and away the best squad. chrishall
Yeah I think announcing you're quitting after losing a match then doing a u-turn is never gonna bode well for the rest of the time at a club.
