jambo_jim Posted August 4, 2015 Share Posted August 4, 2015 Don't know if this has been mentioned previously but I was thinking with the full houses we expect to have over the course of this season, would it be a good idea to promote the FoH and it's aims and objectives at home matches throughout the season? Someone from the board, a representative from the Foundation and our very own Tom Wilson could do a ten minute half time presentation possibly every three or four home games giving some facts and figures on contribution levels, funds raised, targets, etc. Also positive stories such as the supporter leaving 108k to FoH in his will, subscribers names on the third strip etc. could all be publicised during these slots which would:- a. give current current members information on what their subscriptions are contributing to and b. with the positivity the message will introduce hopefully encourage other fans to start new subscriptions. Being a bit more ambitious we could even ask clubs when we're playing away if we could have a slot now and again to promote the Foundation. Some clubs with similar aspirations may be open to this as it will introduce the idea to their own fans and be an example to them of the benefits a similar scheme will bring. I think it would be a good idea to get as much publicity for the FoH while we can. Any thoughts on this or other ideas to increase the profile?
