chuck677
Reading this story about Parma and how they might not be able to fulfil their fixtures. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/31941789 If Parma are wound up, all previous results this season stand and future results will be recorded as a 3-0 win to the opposition. This got me thinking. is this not really unfair on the clubs who did play them? Shouldn't all of their results for the entire season be 3-0? hughesie27
Normal procedure would be all results are 3-0. Definitely u fair if that is accurate.
martoon
They get all bitter and twisted about all the derby humiliations they've suffered, they wish their rivals were deid and email furiously in the hope all their wee sad dreams come true. Shouldn't all of their results for the entire season be 3-0? I thought the other teams had put together a fund to make sure they saw through til the end of the season. But yeah, the Italian rules seem to be that their remaining fixtures will go down as defeats but all other results will stand. Very unfair on a minority of teams - they haven't picked up many points. Footballfirst
It mostly depends on the rules of the particular football association and in some situations the laws of the country involved. One of the East Superleague junior clubs, Ballingry Rovers, went bust earlier in the season. All their games played were expunged from the record as if they had never been played. That makes more sense. Scrub the results from the record. Can you imagine the drama if the results deemed 3-0 wins managed to win a club the league? Maybe even on goal difference! Sexton Hardcastle
Would have been interesting had Juve not ran away with it in recent weeks. Would heavily have benefited Juve. No surprise there then.
