If you create a mini-league of results involving the present top 4 clubs in their head to head games this is how it looks.

(Home results in block letters)

HM       w W w W d W       Points  H 9  A 7   T 16

TR        l   L  W  l   l  *        Points  H 3  A 0*  T   3*

QoS     l   W  L  d  l  W      Points  H 6  A 1    T   7

H          l  w   l   D D *        Points  H 2* A 3    T   5*

*H v TR still to be played.

So the top 4 table looks like this...

HM   6 5 1 0 14-4   +10  16

QoS 6 2 1 3  6-11  -5      7

H     5 1 2 2  5-5      =     5

TR   5 1 0 4  6-11  -5      3

Shows Hearts' massive superiority to date, The Rangers abysmal performance against better teams, Queens' problems away from home and that Hibs' defence is remarkably effective.

Interesting...

The 3-0 at Palmerston becomes a more impressive result the more I think about it.

Especially when you consider Queens have only lost 4 goals at home this season.

Sure is they have only conceded 4 goals there all season and 3 of them were obviously to us and it's the only time they have lost there.

And think their other goal they lost was a penalty to Livingston, so we're the only team to score from open play

They are a really good team in this division and know so many of the other teams so well. They have played well in both games against us imo and were always the team from this division that I thought we would have real problems against so it's great we have won and got so many goals against them as well.

I've been flat out today but will come up with another revealing statistic tomorrow.  I see that Real Madrid have been puffing their chests out a bit so might turn my attention to them.

Doubt if their defensive record is any match for ours but concede that Ronaldo may have scored more than Sow.

All will be revealed.
