Mind that time Rangers 'cruised' to victory against that mediocre bunch of bottle merchants from Kilmarnock?

 

Rangers as a club were all smiles and full of self-congratulation. High fives all round, patting themselves on the back and wallowing on what they deemed to be a significant victory against 'SPL opposition'.

 

All was good at Ibrox again, and the media were quick to congratulate Rangers for such a breathtaking display of total football agains the ummmm 'mighty' Kilmarnock.

 

Collectively, everyone chose to ignore the fact Kilmarnock are a team with their own problems and effectively turned up and lied over to have their bellies rubbed - none of that mattered, because it was an SPL-Scalp and an easy win for Rangers - thats all that mattered after all..........

 

What a difference FOUR DAYS makes huh................................!!! That seems like an eternity ago for Rangers now.

 

The lesson to be learnt here is that teams who are willing to step forward and actually have a go at this latest incarnation of Rangers will reap the rewards. Hearts, Hibs and indeed Alloa are all proof of that. Show them no respect and they are there for the taking.

 

Turn up and play them with any sort of thinking that they are as mighty as they once were during their years of cheating and bullying and you'll end up falling in to line and being brushed aside a la Kilmarnock.

 

Really hope more and more teams start to pick up on the fact that this Rangers side is dead on its feet. Respect them the way you would any other opponent - but the time to fear this club is a distant memory now.
