"Almost beaten"

Seems that the result between us and h1b5 on Sunday wasn't a draw, we were "almost beaten". Both stubbsy and Scott Allan mention this in separate articles in the evening news today. Sorry guys you only get one point for the result on Sunday

Excellent.

They need to score more goals. Till they do it will be draw after draw and losing more ground.

Last three home draws - 6 points dropped, 2 goals.

So if that had been the first game of the season, the table would read;

Hibs;

P1

W0

AW 1

D 0

AL 0

L0

Pts 1

Hearts

P 1

W 0

AW 0

D 0

AL 1

L 0

Pts 1

Arseholes.

But they would be ahead on moral victories. How many points for one of those?

They do have a point though, this is a recurring theme for H1b5....remember how they 'almost beat' us on 19/05/12?

The Hearts are having a :party2:, the H1b5 are :sleeping2:

Hibs had possession of the ball for ALMOST half the game. 6,000 home allocation seats had ALMOST two arse cheeks parked on them. Alan Stubbs can ALMOST tie his own shoe laces.

Wait! If we were almost beaten then surely that also means we almost won?????.... :D

Using their warped 'almost' logic, we almost scored ten on 19th May?

Had to laugh at Stubbs comments on Monday.

'The points difference remains the same but we've made up psychological ground on Hearts'

We had good luck late at Alloa, and now Hobboes. We have work to do!

I watched Seveco last night and they were all over the Saints late on, and some other times.

They were not great , but they could have held us to a draw I suspect.

We have work to do.

What? By blowing the chance to close the gap, even with a one goal and one man advantage in injury time?

So how many psychological points do you get for almost winning?

Hamilton almost didn't get promoted. Alims shot almost didn't dip. Captain Scott almost made the North Pole. Almost is like what if and maybe. What a bunch of losers

We were "almost" beaten. Just as Hibs "almost" won.

It isn't about "almost" hence the fourteen point gap. Don't let the playoffs hit you on the backside you bunch of ******s.

Be fair it was almost 11 points. They almost got to 15 minutes level in the cup final as well.

Gregory House M.D.

My favourite is the Hibs fans claiming that derby as proof they are a better team than Hearts.

They are only 22 goals and 14 points behind us, afterall.

Scott did make the SOUTH Pole... He was just a bit late. He almost got there before Roald Edmunson.

No, I think you were completely correct. According to hobo logic, in getting to the South Pole, Scott did indeed ALMOST get to the North Pole.

I wonder who they hope to almost get in the semis.

Let's hope they almost finish in the top four in the league. Almost but...........not quite. Fifth will do.

Hibs are closer to the bottom of the league than they are to the top.

They can go on about other factors as much as they like, they're finishing below us in the league this season.

I don't care about the result, it's who won the singing contest I am bothered about.

"We've gone toe to toe with one of the best teams in the country and come out of it with a lot of credit."

Well done to Alan Stubbs' team for going up against the giants of Dundee United, whose team could almost qualify for an Under 20 match, and almost not losing.
