Jambomuzz
Obviously we are just out of administration and still have a lot of rebuilding to do. However, something I would like the club to look into when we are on an even keel and perhaps have a little money In the bank, is too look at developing unused areas of land in and around Edinburgh. There is always demand for new 11 aside pitches for children's teams to play on and train on. What better way of getting involved in the community than setting up a network of 3G:4G pitches whatever they are called these days.. Throughout the city. Teams can rent the pitches and the money raised can be used to maintain said pitch and any extra can go to club for future investments? Probably just a pipe dream, but thought I would share! way out west jambo
Big expense which would take years in recuperating the money invested. Buying land from the council, the planning, the construction, the maintenance. Youth teams and amateur teams are not exactly rolling in money to pay us. I agree it raises awareness in the community however I fail to see the business sense.
