Seats Posted May 18, 2008 Share Posted May 18, 2008 Against my better judgement I have aigned up for a popular social networking site. As a result, an ex from many years ago has pm'd me. Now there is nothing untoward in the contact - i'm a happily married man (in case anyone I know is reading this!). However, she has finished it with the question "Sorry, I have to ask, do you still have the nickname?". This has left me in a state of confusion as, as far as I am aware, I never had any real nicknames just shortened versions of my firstname. So, my dilemma is - do I ask her to clarify and find out I was called something horrible behind my back? Or worse, that she has me mixed up with someone else and has no clue who I am?
