Tasavallan
I have been addicted to this concept album by Tuomas Holopainen of the Finnish band Nightwish since it was released. Haken
I have been addicted to this concept album by Tuomas Holopainen of the Finnish band Nightwish since it was released. I too collect all the Scrooge McDuck books illustrated by Don Rosa. http://youtu.be/ZIUtz7A_qJk It strikes me as Holopainen sending out a CV to Disney. More of a soundtrack feel to it. I like it, but am always amused to see it in Fopp and HMV tucked into the Metal section. Obviously that's because of the Nightwish angle, but Metal it ain't. And if I was to be really picky, I'd question the use of the Uilean Pipes over bagpipes. I always thought the former were Irish, but I could well be wrong about that. If you like it as much for the music as you do the subject, you might want to check out 'Beneath the Waves' by Kompendium. Similar musical spectrum but much more vocal numbers.
