letsalldothebeattie
Who do you think will make the starting XI today? I think the back 5 & midfield picks itself really on pre season but who will start up front? Plenty options Sow, Carrick, Oliver, Keatings! What sort of approach are we taking, Carricks pace up top? Need a tall man like Sow? Poacher in Keatings? Robbie said he has different set ups for the team with different opposition so what approach? I think our team might look like this today Neil Alexander Callum Paterson Alim Ozturk Danny Wilson (Captain) Kevin McHattie Jamie Walker Prince Buaben Morgaro Gomis Sam Nicholson Osman Sow Gary Oliver Subs: Scott Gallacher, Brad McKay, Jason Holt, Dale Carrick, James Keatings Going for a convincing 4-0 win today too Sow, Nicholson, Walker & Keatings What do you think? Team? Score? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Sydney
8-0. We lay down a marker. Only two years to go til we win the Premier League. Aiming for anything less would be shameful.

adam1998
I think we'll win but very rarely in my lifetime have we ever destroyed any team. Auchinleck Talbot springs to mind as one I thought we would hammer and we put out a team of fringe players and scraped by. Also Annan won 1-2 at Ibrox not too long ago while drawing with them the game previously. 3-0 to the JT's today IMO, can't wait

Jammy T
Annan have a decent record in cup matches. We are a club still in recovery mode. I think some patience will be needed today. Will be interesting to see what Robbie thinks his best starting 11 is especially in and around attacking players.

oh ah grantona
I think we will defo see Robinson and walker due to suspension for first League games, Petrofac cup is a cup id like to win but wouldn't risk a full starting 11 in this game at home and 2 crunch league games coming up. Phage
Yup it has to be the full team to get some practise. Iron out any kinks that may cost of points at Ibrox.
Hansel
Surely we need the first 11 getting as much of a full competitive game together as possible before the league starts? This is where I'm at. We need to let our team gel before the league starts. I'm sure it was mentioned on the official website that a strong squad would be picked. Hungry hippo
Even if it was a friendly we would be playing a full 11 two weeks before league kick-off. No way players will be rested if fit. They need game time at this stage.

McCrae
The only way I can see us losing today is if we don't take this game seriously. For Robbie this is his first competitive game in charge and he will really want to start with a win. Could easily be a tight game.
letsalldothebeattie
Well Robbie was quoted in the papers during the week saying we are taking Annan as seriously as we will take Rangers. We have to take it serious and respect Annan! If we don't they will beat us. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

super_vlad
What I will like to see is Alexander Patterson. Wilson. Ozturk. McHattie Gomis. Holt. Prince Walker. Sow. Carrick Let Patterson & McHattie play as proper full backs and just bomb forward all day. More likely to see Alexander Patterson. Wilson. Ozturk. McHattie King. Gomis. Prince. Walker Sow. Carrick Forgot, isn't Nicholson rested for this game due to the groin strain

Locky
No excuses for not selecting strongest available team.
