Rudi Skacel
Mon Higgins. Hopefully its good this year, was decent last year but once it got to the semi's you knew no one was going to stop Ronnie.
Destruction Derby
Probably have a bet on Neil Robertson to win outright then see what matches are on tomorrow for a bet if anything is decent to put on.
Eddie
Ronnie on BBC2 just now. First frame still, the boy he's playing Robin Hull looks a decent player. Tester for Ronnie for his first match.

Maroon Sailor
Maguire heading back up to Weegieland. Frustrating as he has the game to be a World Champion but comes up short time and time again.

Maroon Sailor
Higgins v McManus first frame of the day is like watching a game at your local snooker hall. Reds bunched on the cushions and no colours on their spots. They might have to come back tonight if the rest of the session continues like this. Maroon Sailor
It's been a cracking 1st round this year. Half of the matches so far have went to the final frame and there has been a 10-8 and 10-7 in another two.

Maroon Sailor
Good clearance from Higgins to make it 4-8. McManus had a great chance to make it 9-3 though. Wouldn't bet against a Higgins comeback from here. 9-3 would have been too much but if he takes this one before the interval then game on.
loveofthegame
Is it just me who is pretty bored of snooker just now? Ronnie is so far ahead of the rest that it almost isn't worth watching. Other than him, the game has absolutely zero characters at all.

DG_HMFC
Great last couple of frames from Ronnie. The whole match it looked like he was purposely putting himself under pressure just so he could produce that at the end. He will only get better. Have to agree - I always felt he would win this match even though he was never in control of it. Once he got his nose in front (eventually) there normally is only one winner. Maroon Sailor
I know Davis and Hendry were great players, unbeatable on their day but O'Sullivan just oozes so much class I have to say he is the best player I have ever watched.

As a natural player - O'Sullivan is unmatched, now or by any player gone by. But I still rate Hendry more as a match player and temperament that was unrivalled. Enjoyed Ron's final four frames today to win that match and I am really enjoying McManus / Docherty currently.
