Chrambo
I'm thinking about learning about website coding and the creation of brand new websites. Don't really fancy doing any night classes or that, does anyone that's done it have any recommendations; websites, YouTube channels etc.
Mr. T
I've been doing it for nearly 13 years now, here's the book I recommend whenever anyone asks: http://www.htmlandcssbook.com/
Dean Winchester
Codeacademy have some nice interactive tutorials for a few languages. Really enjoying Knockout JS at the moment and using it to build an app at work. They also have some nice Tutorials on their site: http://knockoutjs.com/

I'd also download Aptana Studio 3, it's open source so it's free: http://aptana.com/products/studio3 It lets you code most web languages and lets you run a local server so you can see the results. As it's a developer tool as well it may help you point out the easy to make mistakes that you will make. Missing commas, wrong bracket etc.

After a few hours on Codeacademy I can see this is going to be fun.. How long will it take to get the basics using Codeacademy, to a level were you can make simple sites?
