Thunderstruck
Well done to former (and much maligned by some on here) Jambo. Good performance in a cracking good game of football and is one game away from being in EPL with Bristol City. Also, the free kick by Michael McIndoe was a stunner. Michael McIndoe is an Edinburgh lad and, if he's the same as his brother, a lifelong jambo. Not a bad player and may be available next year if Bristol recruit after promotion. Coco
I used to think that I really hated watching McAllister play for Hearts. No 28 (previously No 24) has shown that my supposed hatred of McAllister was a mild dislike.

adam1998
That was a cracking game tonight. Both managers have been linked with us in the past-Warnock and Johnston Ex players Jamie Mcallister and Lee Johnston Ex roadrunner from the Dockside-Ivan Sproule And a goalie called Basso-Wonder if any link to our Basso. It seems crazy now to think back to the time people said they never wanted Johnston as manager as he had never achieved anything, both managers to me were passionate and wouldn't stand for the wasters we have on our books. Just a pity they wouldn't fancy the job now

pablo
I didn't think he was so bad and said so at the time. It didn't seem to matter if his performance improved from the week before, he received little credit.

Just a pity they wouldn't fancy the job now The first half wouldn't have looked out of place in the Scottish 2nd division. It was terrible. The ball was in the air all the time. As for McAllister , have never forgiven him for his CIS semi blunder and then being the first player off the pitch at the end. But he looked a totally different player tonite. Without sounding blindly anti Hobo : WTF is Roadrunner about ? watching the extra time he had loads of chances to set up team mates and looked like a total spas. Can't wait to see him in the EPL. bighusref
Still hate McAllister. Rubbish player with a misplaced huge ego. Also, that Motherwell game at Easter Road is unforgivable.

Fair dos, I only watched extra time after our game had finished and thought it looked a great game-open and chances galore. The commentators talked about a missed penalty among other incidents and assumed the whole game was good. I thought the managers looked like they wouldn't stand for mediocrity which is what we have had to settle for this season:sad:
Therapist
Well done to former (and much maligned by some on here) Jambo. Agreed. Gave 100% when he played for Hearts and will always be remembered and appreciated for torturing the Hobos with a goal for Works Team FC in the Diddy Cup final. benny
McAllister is still ****. Beep Beep is still ****. Agree that Johnson never got a chance. A lot wrong with the playing side now but i would never ever wish McAllister still to be a Hearts player..

Guest JamboRobbo
When McAllister left, I thought it was probably for the best, as he wasn't quite up to the standard needed in order for Hearts to move forward. 2 years down the line, I'd love to have him back. Which says it all about what has happened to standards at HMFC over that period.

PapaShango
Think you'll find he was there long after Burley left. Burley even played him as a right winger to avoid having to play Miko.

tommythejambo
Sorry but I would take J Mac back in a minute. Poor as he was, he was far better than Goncalves, or probably even Wallace. Plus he played for the jersey.
