Motherwell have nine 17 year olds in their starting line up, and a 15 and 16 year old on the bench. Two young teams.

No Flanagan? Thought he was making a good impression with the 20s?

Hearts are 4.6 on betfair. 0 0 15 mins. Can't believe there's prices on this game!

Bookies will give you a price on anything if you ask them ;)

Betfair is an exchange though so it's just individuals betting against each other but yes, it's there updated live. Still 0 0 31 mins btw.

Had ?15 on hearts at 4.6 after JIG comments on Motherwell team. Just laid them at 1.37 for stake so can't lose but still win ?49 if hearts win.

JIG thank you.

Not the greatest performance despite the scoreline. Motherwell created many more chances, hit the bar and Jack Hamilton made a couple of good stops. I always felt that Hearts were playing within themselves and were happy to sit in once they got in front.

The two penalties looked pretty clear cut. The first was a handball, given by the linesman, the second a trip on Robbie Buchanan which resulted in a second yellow and red card for McNulty the 'Well full back. Beith made an expert job of the first, hitting it into the top right corner, but was a bit lucky with the second as it was driven low down the middle and the keeper got something on it, but couldn't keep it out.

In between, though, was a cracking goal from Robbie Buchanan. It came after Hearts had kept possession of the ball through a couple of phases of play, worked the ball to Elliot Ford on the left who did well to turn and reverse the ball to Robbie down the line. Robbie knocked the ball past a defender as he drove into the left side of the box and curled his shot superbly just inside the far post.

Best for Hearts were Jack Hamilton, Liam Gordon, Liam Smith and Jack Simpson.

The ref seemed to lose the plot in the last 15 mins with some mysterious decisions, like booking Angus Beith for a strong but perfectly timed tackle as he took the ball cleanly.

How did Holt look FF?

Pretty quiet. Angus Beith was the holding player so he saw much more of the ball. Jason, seemed content to play within himself and get the 90 minutes under his belt.
