dougal Posted May 13, 2008 Share Posted May 13, 2008 Not a thread about the match rather about four players who I thought played well and could easily do a job for us. I thought that the Carlisle keeper Westwood had an excellent game. Some fantastic stops, good in the air and just seemed to give his defence confidence as well. Horwood at LB for Carlisle looked solid as well. Good engine, some good crosses and good postional sense. He seemed very comfortable on the ball. Hackney who played wide left for Carlisle also looked good. Lots of pace, good skill and some very dangerous crosses. Very direct looking to attack at all times. I also thought that Richardson for Leeds had a good game. Also very fit, good on the ball and some great crosses and support play for his wide men. All in all I think that these four players would definitely improve the team, with both the full backs much better than what we already have.
