Should be the team for the game in Perth on Saturday. Except the Derby, league games really mean nothing now so we should be making sure our so called best players are available for the game that counts, the semi final.

I've seen some ridiculous statements on kickback & stupid ideas, but this really tops the lot. Incredible

Good entertaining game after a quiet opening 10 minutes.

Motherwell's opener came from a fairly hopeful ball over the head of Liam Gordon into the right channel. Craig Moore the Motherwell striker reacted quickest, latching onto the loose ball and fired in a great shot beyond the outstretched left arm of Mark Ridgers into the top corner.

Hearts mised a couple of chances from Sam Nicholson and Robbie Buchanan to get back on terms as the keeper did well, but from a corner on the right, Liam Gordon rose highest to head home.

In the second half we had three goals in as many minutes. First, another long ball into the left channel this time caught Kai Wilson on the wrong side of Dale Shirkie and the Motherwell player knocked the ball past Ridgers who had no chance.

A minute later it was 3-1 as the ball fell to Craig Moore in space on the six yard line and he had time to swivel and shoot past the helpless Ridgers.

Another minute later and it was 3-2, this time it was Sam Nicholson with a curling shot from the left corner of the box into the postage stamp.

The attacking continued with Billy King hitting the bar, Sam Nicholson hitting the side netting and their keeper making good stops from B King, Oliver and Buchanan. Meanwhile at the other end Ridgers made a couple of fine stops himself to deny Shirkie and Moore once more.

Hearts deserved to take at least a point from the game and will be annoyed by the manner of the goals they conceded. Decent performance from Billy King, but the best player on the park was Sam Nicholson, who beat players with ease, inside, outside and with pace. On another day he might have had a hat-trick himself as well as setting up a number of gilt edged chances for others.

Three goals in three minutes pretty much sums up the u20 league, erratic and extremely unpredictable.

a wee bit puzzled with this comment. It happens in any league , did you see the Aston Villa vs Arsenal last night 2 goals in under a minute , thats the English Premier League nothing to do with the under 20's being erratic at all.

Good to hear Nicholson continuing to do well. I'd expect him to get a couple of starts at some point while Walker is out.
