Guest GhostHunter Posted May 12, 2008 Posted May 12, 2008 ?Two Miles to Tynecastle? book competition ? win a signed copy. We have a signed copy of Buffalo Bill?s book, ?Two Miles to Tynecastle? to give away. Everyone who answers the three questions correctly will go into the hat, where the winner will be randomly drawn out. The questions are: 1. On what date did BB attend his first Hearts match? 2. What was the name of the street where BB grew up? 3. What was the colour of the Hearts top that BB wore to the 2006 Cup final? Buffalo Bill will pick the winner on Saturday 17th May and will arrange to sign and send a copy to the winner. To enter send your entry by PM to Buffalo Bill by midnight on Friday 16th May - BB will announce the winner over the course of weekend 17/18th May.
Buffalo Bill Posted May 17, 2008 Posted May 17, 2008 Thanks for hosting this, Dexter; and thanks to everyone who PM'd me with the correct answer. The answers were as follows: April 21st 1982 Saughton Mains Bank Silver The winner of the competition is 'Legend', whose name was pulled out of the hat (well it was Tesco plastic bag actually). If 'Legend' would like to contact me again, I'll send the book out on Monday. A few copies of the book came into Waterstones (East Princes St) this week and are signed by me. The book is also available to purchase on-line at both the Apex Publishing and Amazon websites. The official release is Fri, Aug 1st 2008. Cheers and thanks again, Buffalo Bill .
sked21 Posted May 17, 2008 Posted May 17, 2008 Stupid question but if we order it on-line do we have to wait until the release date or do we get now?
Buffalo Bill Posted May 17, 2008 Posted May 17, 2008 Stupid question but if we order it on-line do we have to wait until the release date or do we get now? It depends, mate. If you order it direct from Apex Publishing, it will arrive fairly soon. http://www.apexpublishing.co.uk/PubDetails.asp?Num=153 If you order from Amazon, it's a couple of quid cheaper but you'll need to wait until August. Buffalo Bill .
chester copperpot Posted May 17, 2008 Posted May 17, 2008 This is the only book whereby I think it would hold its value better if the author was not to sign the book.

I need to sign as many as possible so that the shops can't send them back! I was also told to 'print' my name underneath, as my squiggly line signature looks like a cradiograph reading.
