Wattie
After yesterday's testimonial, I was lucky enough to have my '97-'98 replica shirt signed by the legends that were playing for Robbie. I intend to frame the shirt as a piece of memorabilia, has anyone ha this done before? Where is the best place to go and how much is it likely to cost? I se there are specialist companies that do this, but is it really necessary to spend ?100+ on a bit of wood and perspex??
Spitonastranger
Go to Ikea, they have frames for ?15 that do the job:)
MackaysCentreSpot
Well as suggested you could get a cheap frame and try and do it yourself but believe me its not as easy as it looks. If you want it to look good I would suggest you get it done professionally. I got my top signed by the 2006 Scottish Cup winning team framed by the shop that does the framing for Hearts and it looks great. They can be found on Gorgie Road a couple of doors along from 20/20 Opticians opposite Ace Tattoos. Cost around ?80 if I remember but was well worth it. S2H
My advice would be not to scrimp. Pay the money to get it done professionally and it will look tops, you'll consider it money well spent.

Wattie
I went down to Ikea to have a look at the frames they had in there. Not bad, but they weren't really designed for this purpose and I can see why getting a bespoke frame done by the pro's would be worth it. I think I'll try Macrae's if they come recommended. Cheers folks.
