Virgin Media

All of a sudden the picture on the TV via the cable box goes all distorted as though there is a loose connection. I have tried pushing the scart lead from the cable box to the tv in but it wasn't loose. Could it be a fault with Virgin Media?

Any fellow members having any issues or know what could be causing the problem?

Cheers

do you have your internet with virgin ,have you moved the T.V. , and disconected the cables recently ?

if so check that the cables are connected to the right connection,

try switching your scart cable round

When I used the scart lead I used to have to reboot the box every now and again to get it working properly, have you tried that ??

the cable box doesn't have an hdmi cable slot

Phone them and get a new box, you should at least have a hdmi box by now.

They will post u out a new one, 2 minute change and wola jobs a good un.

I'm in Gorgie and have had this problem for the past month or so, have moved our Tivo box closer to avoid any stretch on the lead and constantly having to push scart at back of tv thinking thats the problem until it comes back on....I'm assuming this is a Virgin Media problem and not the scart connection on my tv then.
