janie jones Posted May 10, 2008 Share Posted May 10, 2008 With Pinilla, Kingston, Tall, Nade and Conclaves all on between 10 and 15k a year plus Beslija reportedly on 9k with Neil McCann probably not that far behind we are annually investing about 80k on a group of players who either because of attitude, injury or dubious team selections are given us no where near a return on the investment thats being put in. It seems obvious to anyone with half a brain that you could get probably a dozen decent players for that money who combined with a decent manager could really produce a team worthy of our support. Can't see the logic on shelling out on a bunch of wasters and put in charge someone who has no clue how to command respect or get the best of people like Kingston, Pinilla and Nade. Could've had a pile of doash in for Tall and Goncalves last summer, instead the clowns in charge tried getting a few pennies more for them, thus costing us not only the money for getting rid of them, but thousands more than the extra they tried to get for them in their ludicrous wages every week. Larry is a class footballer, he could be the best midfielder in Scotland when we get the new manager that has took us half a year to find. The same with Nade, he can hold the ball up and has a good touch, something Elliot and Mole don't have, you have to pay for quality. Pinilla has the ability to set the SPL alight, he has so much potential it is unreal, it would be like an explosion in the press if he played next season, there would be so much talk about him we'd find it hard to keep him in 2009/10. Tall won't sign a new contract, he'll be away. Goncalves should go but only when we've got a replacement, it's no good having the same sort of situation as we did with Velicka when we had no replacement and struggled for the rest of the year.
