Hearts Heritage Posted October 23, 2013 Share Posted October 23, 2013 In 1880 Hearts recorded their first win over Hibernians in the Scottish cup a 5-3 victory. Hearts 3-0 up allowed Hibs back in to draw level at 3-3. 6 years later Hibernians won 5-1 in the same competition en route to becoming the first 'Eastern' team to lift the trophy. In parallels with 2011-12 / 2012-13 The losers would gain a minor revenge in knocking out the holders the following season. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
