Kompany injured, Everton should fancy their chances because Lescott is chronic.

Replays suggest Naismith was fouled in the box. And just because the ref plays advantage why does he not book Silva for the professional foul on Lukaka trying to stop the fast break? Officiating in this game has been suspect. Excellent wee goal from City. Always said I thought Aguero was over-rated. Decent game this.

Edit: ... and right on cue.

Naismith is still a horrible *****.

He is but them the chances you take when you try to deliberately block a player. Kolarov ain't exactly a UN ambassador.

Man City penalty.

3-1

Aguero (or was it an own goal off Howard?).

Definate own goal..

To be honest the Lukaku incident and the Zabaleta incident were basically the same.. pen for Man City and nothing for Everton.. bad refereeing

To be fair the Zabaleta one looked worse first time round. The more you see it the softer it looks.

Nastasic fouled Naismith - should have been a pen

I don't recall the Lukaka one but based on what you say it sounds legit when compared with the Zabaleta one.

In fairness to the Argentine, Coleman pulled him enough to make a difference, albeit Zabaleta had to drop to force the ref.

Police going into the Palace end to apprehend fans who set off a smoke bomb (or two, or three) .... give it up ffs.

Watt-Zeefuik

Gutsy play by the Killie keeper. Won a very close ball with his feet outside the box to save a sitter of an opportunity. A half second later and he's off with a red.

Remy pulls ball back across keeper's right into corner of net after a counter attck from the Frenchman down the Newcastle left ... cuts inside outside box & shoots. 1-0 to the Toon in the land of my fathers.

Remy doubles his tally and Newcastle's with a placed shot to far corner from edge of box - ball may have nicked inside thigh of outstretched leg to assist.

Craig Beattie scores for Dundee. His first professional goal since the semi?

Clum scores again for Raith.

You're quite right, he scored in their last game.

If he keeps this up I'd take him back...

Cardiff. had them to win as part of an accumulator, once I saw they were 2-0 down I decided to put a bet on Newcastle winning to nil.

:awful:

Cardiff back in it - Odinwnyge (sp) keeps his calm and cuts inside sliding defender and shoots, too strong for keeper.

Good game this.

Edit: Cardiff almost equalize.

Leverkusen vs Bayern on BT Sport just now is a stormingly good game. 1-1 after half an hour.

Moyes pointed out in his post-match interview that if he wanted to wait until he was 23 to get his first cap under the residency rules, he could play for England... or Scotland.
