Good speech although spoiled it at the end with the Palestine chat. I can never decide if I like Galloway or not, I think he's a ###### but I do enjoy listening to him.

My first viewing of this, wanted it so badly to be in Robin Cook's class from 2003, however that was pretty limp and dis-jointed from Galloway.

In all seriousness he is a truly awful man and anyone who listens to him deserves the blood that will in all likely come from their ears...

Love him or hate him you cannot fault his passion for what be stands for.

He stands for nothing except himself

Two faced , second rate person and politician who would not look in a mirror in case he licked himself.

Of course all of the above is opinion... not like George to sue is it.

In general I think he's an arse but I can't disagree with much of what he said there. The needless Israeli/Palestine diversion aside.

He's great to listen to even if you don't agree with his views. Tremendous speaker.

Let's face it he is a Complete dick, but we are not the world police, no way should we engage in another war

At what point did we become a nation that just doesn't care though? An apathetic, self centered nation that believes in nothing and stands for nothing?

He's entertaining but ultimately as self-centred as every other politician.

Politics is likely a more interesting place with him involved but I certainly wouldn't allow him to influence my world view.

Why then, on that basis have we never intervened on human rights atrocities in China? Or in Africa?

I get what your saying, but we cannot afford another war - especially one where we are on our own Nd the are huge question marks as to whether a new regime would improve the situation.

This. He is entertaining, well spoken and says some good things. Otherwise, his biggest cause is George Galloway.

Like Galloway himself, it's always entertaining to read threads like this one, saying essentially he's a dick... BUT.......... :rolleyes2:

So what gives us the right to interfere in another countries civil war?

Tremendous speaker.

Shame he's a walloper though.

That's the problem. Weak minded people believe the garbage he comes out with.

He's an arrogant prick but he has a razor sharp mind and a beautiful turn of phrase.

I totally agree with him on this matter as well.

He's at his best when he stays focused, which he did for about 5 minutes of that before veering off onto favourite hobby horses of his.

But he's spot on: especially so regarding the opposition forces. Many people on here will have seen those videos he referred to; I presume that many MPs will have done too, or at least will know about them.

And we've been arming these nutters. Arming them! What the **** do Cameron and Hague think they've been doing?

In any conflict there are atrocities committed on both sides. Do we never intervene then in any situation therefore? I hardly see that as an argument worth it's weight. Sometimes we just have to choose the lesser of two evils.

George Galloway, as the MP for Damascus West has to be admired for his indefatigability.

Others would say he is a sneaky, snivelling megalomaniac.

That's a fairly big assumption you've made there.

What's important is how you pick your fights.

If Britain hadn't signed the bloody Entente Cordiale it might still have an Empire!

It's pretty widely accepted that the main and most successful military force for the rebels has been Jabhat Al-Nusra, basically the Syrian arm of Al Quaeda. Your really think that's the lesser of 2 evils?

George Galloway is a great orator of that there is no doubt. As I get older I start leaning more and more to his political viewpoints. The last true left wing socialist that we have.

Galloway is indeed a dick IMO but his description of the killing of the Bishop by sawing his head of with a bread knife chilled me to the bone. That atrocious act was carried out by the "Rebels" who we would like to arm!
