We find them in those Unexpected and undesired places in our homes. Around the cars. In the Attic. On the Boat even! So how do we help them decide that where we are, is NOT where they want them to be? Oh yes the boat! Boy I hate it when those pesky spiders get on my Yacht! Where can I get one from? Hard to get this time of year,but a conker placed on each window sill will stop the 8 legged neds from entering without permission!!! Jamboy81 Posted May 8, 2008 Share Posted May 8, 2008 Well we know spiders are afriad of water, maybe a moat round your house is the way to go! I really can't stand them and this is the time of year when they get bigger as well. Also the common house spider, the small black one, seems to be long gone (at least in my flat) and been replaced by the big spindly one. Even the babies are quite large in size.
