Scotland just had a chance after 22 min to make it 1-1 after some amazing play on the break. Archie Campbell was left on is own to put the ball in the back of the net with the keeper to beat and he skuffed his shot. hit the ground 1st and the ball went about 5 yards wide.

Great play but even elliot could have scored it ;)

1-0 at H.T

Should be 1-1 after scotlands dreadfull miss.

Turkey are the better team with there passing but scotland are very good on the counter attack.

Turkey have had a few chances in the 1st chance but due to the goalie error for the 1st goal. He was on his 6 yard line when the header come in from the pen spot area.

Apart from that it has been a good game and scotland will do well to get some thing out of the game.

Hearts kids Mikey Deland & Scott Robinson both managed to get on as subs according to this http://www.uefa.com/Live/Competitions/under17/matchday=2/day=1/match=302675/index.html

I saw Turkey thump Holland 3-0 on Sunday and look very strong so this is a reasonably decent defeat for the young Scots although they now must beat Holland and hope that Turkey beat Serbia although goal difference of -3 currently means it will be an uphill struggle to qualify from what is a tough group.

Turkey deserved to win. A decent football match. Turkey couldve had a few more though, couldn't take their chances. The boy up front for Turkey was far too greedy as well. Saying that Scotland had there chances to take something from the game. The best which was wasted by Archie Campbell.

Deland looked very good. Played Left back and looked comfy on the ball and good going forward. Maybe he can give Jose some lessons? That's him and Divine shown recently that Left back should be sorted in the future.............now for a Right back?;)
