Omitted from the reissue of Appetite for Destruction for some reason (which did include all the other Lies tracks) 🤔

Feck me this is a great song getting a good old kicking. Bowie is kind enough to introduce the Foo Fighters but sensible enough to base it around his guitarist, bass player, drummer, and keyboards. I think the Foos had fun thrashing away though.

Dave Grohl played on one of the album tracks for his underrated album Heathen around that time.

Decent band, but i can't take too much of his voice. I don't know what the word for it is, it's almost country style.

What's that band that a lot of people hate? it reminds me of him.

I actually spoke to him online once when he had his own signature guitar coming out. Nice guy.

Edit: Nickelback.

I wouldn't class Nickleback as Southern Rock.  I have a different term to describe their music. 💩

Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Brothers, Kings of Leon, Black Crowes, and ZZ Top are examples commonly associated.

Creedence Clearwater Revival/John Fogerty you might expect too but they were from Dan Francisco so some disagree.

Far better than the original by Sting.

Ha ha yeah I did. It's strange how some bands just don't fit, despite fitting a genre that you like. The Foo Fighters is a band I just can't get in to despite my brothers attempts to educate me  and the fact that their style of music is one I like.

See, i like these bands, some Kings of leon and black Crowes as well to a lesser extent.

So it can't be Southern Rock. There must be another name for that twang.

Trailer trash rock?

The track over the years that has been the big one for sound engineers checking PA systems more than any other is this. Lots of good frequencies to hear what the system can do and something with space in it is better.
