Towzer
Your taste buds are dulled after all the lager in the Oak. tell you what T,you aint wrong, but, the vindaloo in the club is far far better than the E.P. I always get a free bevvy and a lift home in the EP and the guys in there are great, its also cheaper. The club has a really good chef who works every day bar monday, and everything is immense. The clubs ran by gangsters, you can tell. But there good with it. Its dear as **** and just about the same price to sit in as take away, but the vindaloo is the best

Ta, unfortunately I don't have a menu so am going to try to wing it a wee bit, fancy a nice bit of lamb, not ferociously hot but a bit spicy and seriously tasty. Therapist
tell you what T,you aint wrong, but, the vindaloo in the club is far far better than the E.P. I've no doubt you're right. But I've never eaten a vindaloo after trying one in a moment of drunken bravado in the Cavalry Club. Never again. I've eaten other dishes from EP and CC. Both are truly excellent, but EP JUST shades it for me.

jambo121
Normally go to the Cavalry Club, tried Delta tonight, Sorry guys but was extremely disappointed. I had pakoras they were fine. Karahi Gosht, the Lamb was tasteless maybe as if it had been frozen for a long time and lost its flavour. The sauce was bland and had no kick to the curry at all. Sorry but I wont be back. chester copperpot
A lot of cracking suggestions on this thread, and with the EP, the Guru and the Curry Club being mentioned, these are 3 of my favourite indians. If you want a bit less known, but I find it excellent, try the royal Indian up Clermiston. The Chicken Pakora is extra special.
