Wanting Saint Mirren to beat Dundee tomorrow.

May seem a strange thing to say but I hope saint Mirren beat Dundee tomorrow. Even though it would put us back to second bottom I want to be as clear of Dundee as possible in case we get 18 points docked.

Am I alone in wanting that?

Finishing 18 points clear of Dundee is potentially more important than the LC final.

As much as I hate St. Mirren, I want Dundee to lose every game between now and the end of the season.

Scrappy 1-0 win with a few red cards and injuries would do fine.

A draw would probably suit us. Dundee are absolutely woeful so even if we do get 18 points deducted I'm still pretty confident we'll manage to avoid the drop.

No. I'll take a draw thanks. Dundee won't pick up any points from the teams further up the table, so they can have a point here, and it keeps St. Midden below us on Goal Difference.

It's the best result at the minute.

Personally would like to be more than 18 clear... Better safe than sorry

I feel great about it tbh.

Hate St Mirren. They stay below us. Dundee are shit anyway. 18 point deduction won't happen and even if it did last night allayed my fears.

What would happen if Hearts managed to get in the top six, then went into administration after the split and an 18 point deduction put them on less points than Dundee? Split rules say a team in the top six can't finish lower than sixth. Shows what a stupid setup the split arrangement is.

This cant be right is it? Not like we are making the top six but if we did and this happened can imagine the melt down on weeteam.net

Sorry, but I'm delighted we stay ahead of St Mirren. There's as much chance of Dundee catching us than there is of Hibs winning the Scottish Cup.
