Isle of Mull Accomodation.

Has anyone ever stayed on Mull. Can they recomend any cheap but good accomodation.

 

I've going over on Wed with the girlfriend and plan to stay for two nights but everywhere ive seen on the net is around ?100 a night for a double room with en-suite.

Great B&B just outside Dervaig. I'm actually heading up there on Friday for a long weekend. Mull generally isn't that cheap, do go to Tobermory for the chocolate shop though :thumb:

 

Make sure you're in plenty time for the ferry, they're being really strict on latecomers and you won't get on. PM me if you need anymore info.

The Western Isles has the best location and views of Tobermory IMHO.

It may be a bit pricey but go and have a drink and take in the views of

Balamory I mean Tobermory.

Film buffs may remember it from Powell/Pressburger's I know where I'm going.

Also go to the Macdonald Arms Hotel for a drink and a pub lunch, very reasonable. It's one of the "coloured houses sitting by the sea"........

As Tazio said the Mishnish worth a visit.

I would stay in Tobermory if I were you. More to do.
