If Rangers go into liquidation will HMRC go after those who benefitted to get their tax. Ignoring the NIC factor and assuming all are liable at 40%, someone who received ?60k would receive an assessment to pay tax on a further ?100k if the Revenue's policy is to chase up the individual where the errant employer doesn't have the funds.
