Ulysses
After some communications confusion, the Big Flag has finally been secured following its appearance at the Cup Final. I've been asked to post a word of thanks to everyone who helped make the flag and streamer display happen, so here goes (with sincere apologies in advance for any omissions, typos, duplications or just plain getting names wrong). So, in no particular order, thanks to: Morph Chapstick Dean Winchester Gibby-HMFC Southampton Jambo graygo (+1) Martin Jambomuzz Caitlin marsha_takis (vroom vroom) Floyd super_vlad Rick Grimes Pinhead gowestjambo NextGenerationJambo weaz1981 Conor David Grant oh ah grantona Rudolf's Mate portugeezer Randall bebeto Roberto Rajio Steve Porteous Dagger is Back Adam Rendall Dexter Jambo1874 Sydney Devine Shake Twist Stomp! bighusref Stuart McNeill Sean TinheadGK Tony Clark and Brian Muir at Hampden (for their help, support and patience) The Hampden stewards in sections A7 & B1 The stewards on duty at Tynecastle on the Sunday. Keith Hogg and his colleagues at Hearts(for their help, support and patience) The Brauhaus Hearts/Fridgeybus mob for carrying the flag miles back to the bus and transporting it home safely Muzz for hosting the flag overnight and resisting the temptation to hang it from his window (if a thank you doesn't make him sign up here, nothing will!) Steven S for assisting on Parade Day (might make up for the Legionnaires... ) Officer Dibble for assisting on Parade Day and for hopping all about Sections L and M of the Roseburn fixing bits and pieces The people of sections A7 & B1 (especially in the back rows) for doing the job on the day joe.gausden (not least for providing a new giant flag bag) The taxi driver on Sunday who didn't even flinch when 5 people and a giant bag squished themselves into his wee cab! The company who made the flag (AA Flags, by the way) The designers The dozens who researched options The hundreds who donated The thousands who chucked their streamers at the right time And last, but by no means least, for being the flag "project manager" on the ground - a job which called for a huge amount of hard work, commitment and patience....... ....redm Thanks all, much appreciated (and sorry again if I left you out or got your name wrong). redm
A massive well done to every single one of the ridiculous number of people who were involved in the end. It was a great thing but being completely honest, I'll be pleased not to have to see that flag for a wee while now. Nice one JKB.

I understand the second highest contributor to the flag wants to remain anonymous, so I won't name him, but he should get a special mention as well. *just re-read that, it definitely isn't me.
