Kalamazoo Jambo
I have two cats - Lovell (!) and Tony. They're both about three years old, and I've had them for a year and a half. Both were abused by their original owner, but do remarkably well given what they went through. Lovell doesn't have a tongue, so is the world's messiest eater. I also have to keep the toilet seat down or he will try to clean himself in there... They're worth all the hassle, though - even if one of them did pee on my luggage the last time I was packing to go see the famous JTs

Brian Whittaker's Tache
Mine's was a rescue Not mistreated as such but not treated that well. Grew from a cute wee ball of fur into 7 stone of hair and teeth that had never been socialised as she was too big for the wee woman that owned her to walk I wish people would engage their brain and think of what they're doing before buying a pet and that people that sell dogs see more than pound signs. It boils my **** to see that many dogs in rescue

We have a cockatiel, he is psychotic, he flys into our heads, will occasionally sit on our shoulders and will land in your dinner and help himself, (occasional cannibalistic tendencies, eating his once feathered but very dead chicken brothers and sisters;)) but doesn't pick up anything we whistle to him, he's 3 years old. Roman is will be 3 in April. Got him straight from a breeder in Denny - they're generally looked after better by breeders than they are in the pet shops so enjoy being handled and so are easier to tame and train. 'Tiels love to mimic. An hour a night for a few weeks and a reward of a nibble of a Cadbury's chocolate finger (any vets reading - spare me the lectures, he likes chocolate) when he tries or gets close and he'll be telling your neighbours that the Hibees are gay in no time!! Seriously though, I've found it's mainly down to luck. Providing the tank conditions are okay and the other fish aren't too nippy then it's just a question of how well-bred they are.
