yvonnejambo Posted April 27, 2012 Share Posted April 27, 2012 Was at this award ceremony last night in Glasgow and it made me burst with pride to live in this Country with so many inspirational and talented young people. The girl who won overall is 21 with the most horrific burns but is so positive and beautiful that she is now my hero. Words from her could change so many young peoples perceptions on body image for the better. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2mFu3j5OEU0&feature=youtu.be Also very happy the group I work with in Ullapool also won an award which is so fab for a little place like up here to be recognised as having a great group of young people who help others. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oOn_S4Gkkjc&feature=share Other points from the evening having Matt Cardle as my next door neighbour and spent most of the award ceremony tying to figure out who the woman sitting opposite was me was, she said she was on radio but I recognised her and it was Catrina Harvey so I could have had some decent football chat if I had known at the time!
