Genesis music was far too slow and plodding for my tastes, whereas I saw Marillion on the Clutching at Straws tour at the Playhouse and they were fantastic. They were shite and I couldn't wait for their set to end. Plant must have been impressed by It Bites guitarist, Frank Dunnery, as he later joined Plant's band.
