Playing cup finals in foreign countries

I remember reading last month that one of Napoli's executives felt that the Coppa Italia final shouldn't be played at the Olympic Stadium in Rome because it doesn't hold enough for both teams fans. It was suggested that it could be played in Paris or London.

It made me think with the demand for tickets for our final how would it make everyone feel if a Scottish cup final involving Hearts was to be played outside Scotland? I know it's not really applicable as we would always have Murrayfield as an option, but just think it's an interesting scenario.

 

I actually think it wouldn't be a bad idea if demand was huge to play a final at Old Trafford.
