Gigolo-Aunt
Why would Billy Brown leave a number 2 post for another number 2 post ?? Surely if he was going to split up his double act with JJ, it would be for his own job where he calls the shots ??

I was hardly suggesting Mourinho was going to get the gig but remember we courted heavyweights like Bobby Robson and Claudio Ranieri and ended up with Graham f***** Rix and now we're being quoted with Levein, JJ and McGhee. I dread to think who he'll come up with this time. **** it just give us Frail!

Fair point, I'm my darkest nightmares i could never envisage a Frail/Brown combo backed up by Locke and McCann... but then I never envisaged Graham Rix ever being allowed into Tynecastle, let alone given the managers job! I really hope the Original Poster has not heard something through the grapevine alluding to this as it seriously would be a joke appointment even by Vlad's standards. Not heard anything it's just the way i feel things going.I think Frail is already starting to put his backroom together. An all old Hearts boys backroom if you will. He's sounded out Brown(maybe)and Locke and McCann is already in place. Roy Barry
I could see BB being at Hearts in some capacity next season - I reckon he would take a similar job at Hearts that he has at Killie - it would be more cash, closer to home and the chance of a decent payout if things don't work out. Its hard to see him and JJ getting another shot at a big club and they aren't too popular at Killie. Frail shouldn't get the job - not even sure he should stay on if a new man comes in.
