Today's results

After today's results the most likely final position for Hearts this season seems to be 6th. Does anyone think we'll finish higher or lower?

looks like 6th, never mind, clear oot then a bright new season with leaner, fitter squad.

Aberdeen losing today is good for our top 6 hopes. However it's going to end in a very "meh" 5th or 6th for us this season however....

C'mon guys, get your optimistic hats on!

No reason why we can't get fourth.Next three games are vital mind, get to the split level with or ahead of Dundee Utd and St J and we can have them in the final push.It can and will be done!

Got to be setting our sights on 4th, no way we will catch Motherwell.

IMO 4th is achievable.

Catch Rangers, 3rd is on ;)

If we can put together a half reasonable run between now and the end of the season, we could still finish 4th. Which would be a good finish for us this season.

I'd be very pleased if we get 4th considering the wage issues this season.

Clueless and csaba.

Only Hearts managers to finish outside the top six.

Csaba didn't finish outside the top six. And neither will Mr Sergio.

Hope this helps.

Win tomorrow and we'll only be like 2 points behind United with 8 games to go.

Rank defeatist posting on here these days.

First things first, win tomorrow and we'll be 8 points clear of Kilmarnock with 9 to play for before the split, with Killie still having Celtic to play. Win tomorrow and we most likely confirm a top 6 place. Which in these precarious financial times, gives us more TV exposure and bigger home gates.

Bayern won 6-0.

Barce 2 up against Sevilla - two great goals to boot.

Bayern's last three games 7-1, 7-0, 6-0. Hitting form at the right time, but then Dortmund are now a Bundesliga record, 20 games unbeaten.

If we win tomorrow nothing has changed.

True, I was hoping to move up to 4th or 5th this weekend with St Johnstone and Dundee United having tough(ish) games though. I'm convinced we will finish top six now and am quite hopeful that Hearts can go unbeaten to the split but form needs to pick up. Irrespective of the managerial change and pay issues, Hearts still have the third biggest wage budget in the league and not qualifying for Europe would be unacceptable.

German football is the shizzle just now. Surprised Dortmund got emptied out the groups in the CL.

Juve won 5-0 at Fiorentina this evening too - Boruc in goal :)

Sorry my friend but with the she-ite we've been through this year a top six could never ever be considered meh. Three months ago the very survival of Hearts was considered good!

Anyone watching Yanted tare Wolves apart?

Eggert came on just before half time. Looked at fault for leaving Hernandez then.

5th is a definate euro place.

I'd guess that if we stop conceding silly goals we will finish 4th or 5th. Motherwell and Rangers (except for major points deductions) are to far ahead.
