I gather that you are going on the fact Vlad has promised to deliver within a 5 year period thinking that next year is his final chance to prove it to everyone??? Unfortunately this claim of his 5 year plan was just one of many. If he brings in a decent manager and gives him cash to splash then I would agree however a manager with a brain will want to come in and look at the players on the books first. That means it's going to be the Jan transfer window leaving half the season to try and win the league!!! Only way round that is to bring someone in and say here is a stupid amount of cash with Vlad saying you must win me the league...... Not many managers are going to be stupid enough to come into that under the threat of not delivering and being booted halfway through the season when it's obvious it's not happening!!! They are probally good enough but we need more, I don't know the word, Vaa Vaa Voom we'll say. We lack creativity, we can't dig ourselves out of pits, all champions need that quality. Even if we spotted the players that would get us that extra creativity, that moment in every game when even opposition spectators are sitting watching the game and are taken aback by the class of player. We will not get that, not only will they not want to come to Hearts unless offered crazy amounts of money, but we couldn't afford to bring them to the club. We have already sold many of our high earners. The problem is the players that have been sold are our good players, (clubs wouldn't buy the useless players for the same money). As for betting on Hearts to win the league next season, here's what to do; bet ?5/?10 on Hearts to win their next game. Then bet your return on us to win the next game after that. Keep doing this for the remaining 5 games. If we were to win all 5 games, you would have around ?40-?80 depending on what you started with. Take your initial stake out, take a percentage of what you want to keep and bet the rest on Hearts to win the league next season. You'll get around 80/1-200/1 (I have no idea what they'll price us at). If you have ?20, you'll get over ?1500 back if we won the league, that will, as said earlier, pay for the Champions League trips we'll be taking, 2 knockout rounds and the group stages, ?1500 would be enough for that. And if you say what if we don't win the last 5 games as Frail has said, well, we're not going to win the league next season if we can't win those games!
