Rossco1874 Posted January 31, 2012 Share Posted January 31, 2012 My old man asked me if I could do this for him this morning as I thought it would be as easy as extracting music off an ipod to Pc (I use the software idump) But its turning out to be a hell of a lot more difficult, I've downloaded many trial version of different softwares but they only let you download 5-10 songs before insisting you buy the full package. Before people suggest just downloading ALL the trial version and do it bit by bit, Don't! Anyone done this before with an itouch, and if so what did you use and how? Cheers guys. mrmarkus1981 Posted January 31, 2012 Share Posted January 31, 2012 Not sure if its the same with an ipod touch., but last week i copied the music from an ipod shuffle. In a nutshell...The files on the ipod are hidden, if you 'show hidden files and folders' (control panel) and apply that to the ipod you can copy the files on the touch and paste them onto your pc. The files and folder names dont mean anything but when you add them back into itunes it recognises them.
