Back in the Day...

The jj era

Everyone can slag off Chris Robinson (and rightly so with certain things) but when he took control in 1994 we had some great teams with the likes of Bruno, Cameron, McCann, Adam etc etc then when we started to lose some of these players like Weir and McCann for example we managed to find some good players at reasonable rates like Stamp, McKenna, DeVries, Fuller etc etc. Sure, we signed some dumplings throughout Robinsons tenure like Wyness, Twaddle, etc but the team was still reasonably decent to watch. Nowadays... well, Romanov was fine for 1 season and thats it. It's no wonder a lot of folk just canny be arsed with watchin the team in comparison to some from the 80's, 90's and early '00's.
