Vlads plan to take control again

I may be being a touch cynical here but I surely have the right after the past two years. Has Vlad deliberately chosen SF to take the team for 6 months so that he can say "Look, I appointed a head coach and it didn't work, I will pick the team again next year"?

 

I know that may sound a little far-fetched but imho I think it will go one of two ways over the next 2 months.

 

1 As above, another puppet in charge with Vlad pulling the strings

 

or

 

2 A decent, proven manager will get the job and have full control

 

I fear that it will be number one. Thoughts?
