Anyone heading to The Twilight Sad tomorrow in Glasgow? Think they're the band I've seen most now. Hoping the new album stuff is good.

It's not bad - although I was expecting my favourite song from the new album "Kill It In The Morning" to be noisier when I saw them in December. Mind you, that was in a tiny london venue so they may have had to strip it back a bit.

Agree with this after last night. Small venue, guitars, synths and vocals totally lost in the mix.

Old stuff sounded a bit better.

Is this not the same day as the cup final?

Not that it's likely to be a problem.

He was looking majestic, as always. Fair bit of banter with the crowd as well. He played Soco Ameretto Lime by himself and the crowd done the harmonies while he song the main melody. It was brilliant. I went to buy myself and my pal a soco ameretto lime at this point but discovered they cost ?7.80 each and had a glass of water instead.

There was quite a few highlights. The old stuff like The Quiet Things and Seventy Times Seven were good for just jumping about going radge but the The Devil and God is my favourite album so stuff like Millstone and The Archers Bows are Broken was brilliant.

Press Ctrl + R.

Yeah, I think the cogency between being an angsty young man and liking Brand New's last 2 albums best is quite high.

Just went to see Paul Weller at Abbey Road Studios last Friday, by far the best gig of my life. Only 100 people there.

Going to The Stone Roses in Glasgow next June.
