Any news on the team heading out to Netherdale tomorrow? I hear we are playing Gala Fairydean Rovers in a memorial cup for Alfie Conn. Was thinking of going to the match.

Going down, never been to Netherdale (think I've only eve been to Galashiels once years and years ago) before, hope it is a reasonably easy stroll to either Gala or Tweedbank station after the game as the last train leaves for Edinburgh at 17:31.

It's about a mile and a half from Netherdale to the station in Galashiels and will take you a good 25 mins walk.  Tweedbank is maybe 300-400 yards closer a little closer but the train leaves 4 minutes earlier.

I think it's to do with a strike.  There are normally trains running after 11pm.

Hearts are sending a team up here to Brechin this Tuesday night for a game.

Anyone know how strong the squad coming up will be?

Thanks.

Given we start Europe on the Thursday I would imagine we will send an U20s side. Wouldn't think we would send a full team just 2 days before we start our season

Cowdenbeath away on 2nd July confirmed on their website. Would be nice if Hearts told us if these were first team/squad games.

Could still be a decent team.. Rossi, McGhee, Oshinawa, Gomis, King, Kitchen, Muirhead, Todorov. Cowie if fit. Wonder if Gallacher will play in goals.

The game shouls be for the team who is going to start in 2nd leg. They clearly need match sharpness so this is perfect opportunity.Team for 2mo and 2nd leg should be

Hamilton

Smith

Rossi

Mcghee

Rherras

King

Kitchen

Djoum

Zanatta

Sammon

Muirhead

Lyngby goalkeeper Viktor Noring is still on trial with us. I presume he will be in the squad against Cowdenbeath on Saturday.

Police advice may cause cancellation of Hibs pre season friendly against Derby County at home planned for 31st July

Strange decision if this comes about

Even worse is that it's probably fleetwood reserves as they are also playing Wigan at home the night before

1-0 down to Brechin in the first minute.

No idea what the line up is

Mason Brandon Baur Trialist Jones Vladislav Paton I Smith McLean Irving Currie

Subs Reid K Smith Trialist

At least according to Brechin's twitter.

Any clues who the 2 trialists are?

No idea. I'm in Portugal.

That's 3-0 to Brechin Jamie Montgomery knocks it in from a couple of yards out.
